Health and wellness are two things that every person whether or not they realize it wishes to achieve.
It is also something that almost everyone seems to think is not possible in this day and age.
This is not true, not even in the slightest.
There are many nutritional and herbal supplements and weight loss and weight gain programs available to all in order to better your overall lifestyle.
You just have to know what to look for to suit your personal needs.
Many tools are available for example the biggest one being the Internet.
Once you find the program for you well the rest is just a matter of will power.
I do admit that a lot of us are lacking in that department but it is within each of us to dig down and grab hold of.
There are many ways to achieve this seemingly unachievable goal.
So lets talk about some of them.
First and foremost is nutrition! Balancing your eating habits and monitoring your calorie and vitamin intakes is a daunting task, this I will also agree.
Although it is not impossible, to let you in on a little secret not as hard as you think.
Many companies offer diet planning, BMI balancing and such but the best I find are the coaches.
Kind of like Alcoholics anonymous they help you through the rough patches and keep you on track.
Secondly is water.
That's right I said water.
Not the kind with additives and sweeteners but plain old water.
We are made up of mostly water and we need it to survive.
As a matter of fact we need 1 to 1.
5 liters a day.
It serves as our system regenerator and cleaner.
Kind of like and excuse the terminology a toilet.
Water goes in and bad stuff is flushed out.
Simple right? That being said it is our hydrator and is mandatory for the human body.
The problem today is people want the sugar rush or the sweet tastes of other drinks readily available on the market.
I am not saying you shouldn't drink these but they should be balanced with? Right you are, with water.
Now almost every family in North America has been conditioned to sit down and eat the famous 3 meals a day whether they are hungry or not.
There is nothing wrong with this at all being that we as a society implemented this practice for "Family Time".
We also need to listen to our body when it tells us that it is hungry and believe me you know it does that.
When we ignore this warning from our body this is what happens.
It goes into crisis mode.
Thinking that it may not get what it needs it stores what it has as fat thinking it can feed itself if not fed off of it.
But of course we all know what happens, we sit down for our meal at our specified time.
So now the body does not need the stored fat and it remains stored.
So we gain weight.
Snaking is the pitfall of evil we all fall into.
There are two kinds of snaking and they are bad and good.
See very simple.
It's easy to pick up a chocolate bar or a bag of chips open them up and gobble them down to appease our growling stomachs.
It is also just as easy to peel a banana or bite into an apple.
Not only is it easier but also our bodies were actually meant to digest these things.
We are not equipped to handle all the extra additives that are poured into these man made foods in order to preserve them for as long as possible.
Health and wellness is a personal choice.
As a society we are bombarded with an abundant of eating choices.
It is up to each of us how we choose to pick the foods that are good for us.
