How to Get Cast in The Next Twilight Movie
- 1). Getting a role in a major film series is never easy, but in reality, there may very well be more extra roles in Hollywood than there are actors. And although being cast in Twilight is a high goal for many actors, most will never get a part. Why? Because they don't get creative in getting noticed. Thinking of unconventional ways to get cast is the first step!
- 2). Despite the fact that the typical audition process will never afford you an opportunity to play a role in Twilight (because of the heated
competition and already established cast), it's still important to follow through with the traditional steps of preparing for an audition. First, make a resume and include any relevant experience (community theater and school plays count). Then, have a photo shoot and print a few 8x10 glossies of you looking the character you envision playing. - 3). Use your digital video recorder to either film a mock Twilight scene or make a sincere pitch to the producers of Twilight to include you in the
cast. Although you're highly unlikely to get a starring role, your sincerity and creativity may be enough to get you cast as an extra (a person who stands behind the primary actors and usually performs some mundane task in order to make the scene appear more realistic. - 4). Forget casting directors. Send your letters, photos, DVDs, and any other creative materials you come up with directly to the producers at Summit Entertainment:
Summit Entertainment Development Services

Santa Monica, CA 90404-4058 - 5). Although there are no guarantees that contacting the producers behind the Twilight series will lead to anything, there is no shortage of steps that can be taken to attract attention to your ambitions. If reaching out to Hollywood doesn't work, let Hollywood find you.
- 6). Contact your local newspaper with the same DVD, photos, and cover letter you sent to the producers of Twilight. Maybe... just maybe, if you're lucky, the editor of the features section will find it an amusing human interest story that someone in the community is trying to land a role in the next Twilight sequel. If you capture any ink, the article could hit the associated press. And if you're lucky, filmmakers could be made aware of your ambition and put you in the movie. Why? Because if you're already getting press, putting you in the movie is sure to get even MORE press and add more hype to the film series.
