Getting Rid of Centipedes - Don"t Let These Home Invaders Stick Around!

18
Getting rid of Centipedes can be a breeze, or it can be hard.
I know of some suggestions you could do from home, very little supplies, and very little money.
These ideas work moderately well, if you only have the occasional Centipede skittering around your floor, this might be the best root for you.
Here are some ideas you can try to make getting rid of house Centipedes easier: 1) Seal up all the cracks into your house, this will stop them from getting in.
This will also stop other insects from getting in, which means less food for the Centipedes.
2) Sticky Pads, they catch the insects running over them.
Pick yourself up some, they are easy enough to find, and catch the ones already in your home.
3) Centipedes love damp places, so dry up your basement (or wherever) with a dehumidifier.
This is another easy method to try if you have one lying around.
You can also try some less than natural remedies.
Their are pesticides, Boric acid, and things of this nature which will kill/keep the Centipedes away.
These work pretty well, for the getting rid of Centipedes outside your home.
I know I have a major problem with spraying harmful chemicals in the same rooms where my family lives and breathes.
Again, pesticides are great for the outside of the house, but the inside requires a more delicate touch.
Hiring an exterminator may not be something you want to do at the cost of a few hundred dollars, and I understand that.
However if the problem gets out of control, which it usually doesn't, than this is definitely the route to go.
