Killing Bed Bugs - How to Treat a Room For Maximum Bed Bug Kill Power

4
Do you really want to murder those creepy little insects that visit you in the dark of the night? You are ready to start spraying for bed bugs.
You have cleaned up the room as much as possible, bagged all the loose items that can be laundered, and cleared out as much clutter as possible.
After purchasing plenty of bed bug killer insecticide, you are primed to commit havoc and mayhem on the nasty critters.
Here is how to proceed to spray a room for maximum effect.
You really need to over spray to make sure you have gotten the insecticide into every possible opening.
Start at the end of the room farthest from the door.
Hose down every little crack in the wall, seam in the baseboard and the electrical outlets.
All these areas are bed bug highways between you and the safe haven where they rest and hatch their young.
Do not skip any areas in the walls and floors.
Be sure to empty out your furniture and pull out the drawers.
Spray the interior of the cabinet and the undersides of the drawers.
Get the spray into all the little openings and crack you can see and even the ones you can't see.
Remove the mattress from the bed and seriously consider discarding it.
If this is not possible, try not to spray the mattress too much as this could make you ill from laying in the insecticide.
You want to kill bed bugs, not yourself.
Enclose the mattress in a "bed bug" proof plastic casing after treating it with a safe dusting powder.
Spray the bed frame and headboard thoroughly to finish the job.
