You are gonna need acting training and experience.
You can make this happen where ever you live, you don't have to be in big cities.
Take some acting classes, and perhaps get involved in community theatre, try to get an agent that'll send you out on auditions.
Then just rinse and repeat.
Now this is just some of the basic steps, I want to point out the business aspect of acting that most people forget about.
First you have to figure out what you bring to the acting industry.
Look at the acting industry like a big store, and the products in the store are the "actors".
The people who buy these products are the people who hire the "actors".
Your job is to figure out why these "people" should buy your product and also what sets you apart from the "others".
Once you have that down, improve on it, find ways to advertise it so "people" would buy.
