How to Use Frost King in a Trunk
- 1). Open your truck door. The painted metal you see around the entry of the door is known as the door jamb; this is the area that the door rests in when shut. It is also where your truck loses most of its insulation and where you will be installing your Frost King weather stripping.
- 2). Unroll the Frost King weather stripping to the same length as the circumference of the door jamb.
- 3). Remove the first 1-2 inches of the adhesive seal tape from the back of the weather stripping. This will expose the sticky back of the weather stripping for installation.
- 4). Choose a starting point and place the sticky side of the weather stripping to your truck's door jamb.
- 5). Continue to peel and stick the weather stripping around the entire circumference of the door jamb until you reach your original starting point.
- 6). Cut any excess weather stripping away with a pair of scissors.
- 7). Roll down your truck's windows.
- 8). Cut a length of weather stripping to length of the circumference of the window, not including the bottom where the window seats into the door as this part cannot be weather stripped.
- 9). Repeat this process on all of your truck's doors and windows.
