6
I know there are thousands of articles on how to lose weight.
There are so many different techniques for losing weight it's unbelievable.
So I want you to view this information as just one piece of information that may assist towards the goal of better health and less unwanted fat.
So what's wrong with wheat? Wheat is an extremely common cereal crop used to make bread, breakfast cereals, pasta, etc.
It is also contained in many processed foods.
Wheat will convert to sugar faster than any other grain.
And sugar converts to fat! So the wheat products that you consume will quickly be converted to the fat that sits on your thighs, buttocks, stomach and hips.
Wheat also contains phytates.
Phytates combine with other nutrients such as calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorous and zinc in the intestinal tract.
It prevents these minerals from being absorbed by the body.
If you eat too much wheat you could end up with mineral deficiencies.
This will only serve to increase your hunger and make you eat more.
It can also result in allergies and some intestinal problems.
Wheat products also contain Gluten.
Gluten is used as a binder in many processed foods.
It adds the right consistency to products such as tomato sauce.
Gluten can be very hard to digest and can cause all sorts of problems in certain people, including indigestion, Candida or yeast overgrowth, allergies, bloating and intestinal problems.
So instead of having regular white bread or even wholemeal bread, try spelled bread, rye bread or sourdough bread.
Instead of eating Corn Flakes or Weet Bix, try a good quality muesli which contains oats and organic ingredients.
Instead of regular pasta you can have vegetable or rice pasta or even buckwheat noodles.
Replace wheat flour with any gluten-free flour - cornflour, rice flour, buckwheat or millet.
Avoid any baked goods that contain wheat flour.
Of course there are many ways to lose weight, but if you follow this one piece of advice it will go a long way towards helping you to shed those unwanted kilograms.
