How to Repair Install Breaks in IE 7
- 1). Launch Internet Explorer 7 in no add-ons mode. Click "Start" and select "All Programs." Click "Accessories" and then "System Tools." Click "Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)."
- 2). Click "Tools" and then "Internet Options." Click the Advanced" tab. Click the "Reset" button. Click "Reset" to confirm. Launch Internet Explorer 7 (normal version) from the "Start" menu or desktop shortcut. If the problem is not fixed, go to the next step.
- 3). Repair IE 7 from the Add or Remove Programs tool. Click "Start" and select "Control Panel." Click to switch to classic view. Double-click "Add or Remove Programs." Locate Internet Explorer 7 and click to highlight it. Click the "Repair" button at the top to initiate the auto-repair process. If this doesn't help either, go to the last and final step.
- 4). Reinstall Internet Explorer 7 (see Resources). Click "Download" and click "Run" to initiate the installation process. Restart the computer when installation finishes.
