Never getting into a relationship would eventually cause all of mankind to disappear.
Unfortunately, while relationships are vital to our species, not all will succeed.
In fact, there are a lot of people that either have, or will, face a break up at some point in their lives.

If you don't see your reason on the list than you should probably try to get your ex back and make it work once and for all.
Starting a relationship simply because you are attracted to each other is a bad idea.
The attraction will eventually subside and leave you with nothing else to base your relationship on.
Once that happens one of you are bound to start looking for someone else that will keep their interest.
Long distance relationships fail for the same reason as the ones that fail due to opposite work schedules.
If you work all days, and they work all nights, you will hardly see each other, and if that is the case then what is the point of being together? If you never get to see your partner you will eventually want to find someone you can see on a normal basis.
Everyone, or almost everyone, grows up, which means you may not be interested in the same things now as you were a few years ago.
If this happens, you may find that you are your partner are having less and less in common with each other which can prove to be a problem.
With nothing to do together you will soon become bored which is a recipe for disaster.
