How to Reboot a Touch Screen
- 1). Connect your keyboard and mouse to your computer or Tablet PC.
- 2). Press the computer's power button to restart it.
- 3). Press and hold the "F8" key before the Windows logo is displayed, if your computer has a single operating system. Otherwise, for multiple operating systems, highlight the operating system you want to fix by using the arrow keys to highlight it and, then, press and hold the "F8" key.
- 4). Navigate to "Repair your computer" on the Advanced Boot Options screen.
- 5). Click on your keyboard layout for your geographical region, and then click on "Next."
- 6). Click on "Startup Repair," and then click on "Finish," if problems cannot be found; otherwise, click on "View diagnostic and repair details" to read a summary of repairs that were made.
- 7). Click on "Restart," and if you still experience problems with rebooting your touch screen, visit the manufacturer's website and check for updates to your operating system.
