PPC ads – This is another way to accomplish basically the same thing as search engine optimization, only you will have to pay for the ads to be placed at the top of Google or Bing.

Social Media Marketing – Social media is a great (free) tool that you can use to connect with and interact with other people that might be interested in what you have to offer. YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and others can all be used to help you get the word out about your business.

Article marketing – Once you have a website, you may want to use article marketing to develop links back to your site. You can create valuable content and submit it to article directories with a link back to your site and a little bit of information about it.

E-mail marketing – If you have something free to offer, you have a very simple way of generating an e-mail list that you can send promotional offers to on a regular basis. E-mail marketing is extremely effective, and once you create a subscriber list, you will have a stream of people that you can directly market your services to.

Offline Fitness Marketing Strategies

Print ads in a publication like the newspaper, TV spots, radio spots, billboards, and direct mailings are all effective offline strategies that you can use in your fitness marketing campaign. If you place a few ads in the newspaper and get a spot on your local radio station, you can see how well these particular channels work for you so that you can develop a marketing strategy that is very effective in the future. Offline fitness marketing may be more expensive, but it can be very effective to help get the message out to your prospects.
