Several biking, hiking and day use areas sprawl throughout Franklin Mountains State Park. The recreational vehicle spaces available within this state park are limited to five, with the majority of overnight access devoted to primitive camping. Outside the state park's boundary lies a number of quality alternatives, giving you and your RV plenty of room to set up camp.

The park store, in Mckelligon Canyon, provides a number of essential items for overnight visitors. Although these sites are limited in both availability and amenities, the beauty of staying overnight in the state park makes it a rewarding experience.
