Have you been going to the gym day after day working your @$$ off trying to add muscle and still not seeing results? It's a common question for many guys who put the effort into the workout but really don't feel like they have anything to show for it.
There are 3 main reasons why you may be having trouble building muscle bulk? The first and foremost reason is genetics and unfortunately, you can't do anything about this reason.
With genetics you essentially can place the blame on mom and dad for you not being able to naturally create the massive muscle gains you may be hoping for.
However, this doesn't mean you can't gain any muscle.
The second reason you are have trouble building muscle bulk might be because of your form or the way you are lifting the weight.
With your form you need to pay attention to three things.
They are: · Using the targeted muscle group · Slow controlled moves · Resting time between each exercise.
When you lift, be sure to focus on using only the muscles the exercise is targeting.
For example, if you are doing a chest press which works on your pecs.
If you lift such a heavy weight that you have to use other muscles like those in your back, legs, etc, you take the work away from the pecs.
Performing slow and controlled moves helps you to focus on those exercises.
Avoid using momentum.
Also, when you are lifting to failure, take 1 1/2 (at the least), to 5 minutes (at the most), rest between exercises depending on how heavy you lift.
The heavier the weight the more time you rest.
The third thing to help if you are having trouble building muscle bulk is to use the right routine.
There are any number of a thousand routines you can use but the bottom line is to push the muscle.
First, make sure and perform a warm up set of at least 10 reps.
This set should be about 50% to 60% of the max weight you plan on lifting for the exercise you are performing.
Then lift a minimum of 3 up to 6 sets of each exercise with the last rep going to failure.
The number of reps you lift depends on the amount of weight you lift.
The heavier the weight, the fewer the reps performed.
If you are having trouble building muscle bulk, keep these ideas and mind.
Follow the proper form and techniques of building muscle bulk and you'll be amazed at the body you've just created.
