How to Remove Suse 10.3 From a Dual Boot With Windows XP
- 1). Burn your partition editor to create a Live CD, or download and install it as needed by the software.
- 2). Back up any data you wish to keep, from both Windows and Suse. While this process should preserve your Windows installation, there is always a risk when resizing and changing partitions that damage may occur. Any data left in your Suse installation will be lose once the operating system is removed.
- 3). Run your partition editor, either from a Live CD or from your Windows installation.
- 4). Using your partition editor, select the partition of your hard drive that has Suse installed on it. Delete this partition.
- 5). You can either resize your Windows partition to include the empty space, or simply leave it blank to install another operating system at a later time.
- 6). Apply the changes, and, once they are finished, restart your computer.
