How to Create an MSI
- 1). Click "Start," then click "All Programs," and then click "Advanced Installer."
- 2). Select "Simple" under "Templates" and remove the check mark from the box next to "Use Wizard to Create the Project." Click "OK."
- 3). Click "Files, Folders and Shortcuts" on the left side of the window and click "Application Folder" to add files and folders used by your application and represent the installation folder.
- 4). Click the "Build" button. You will see a "Build Project" toolbar tracking the progress of your build. Click the "Run" button once the build has been completed. A wizard will appear to take you through the installation of your folder file. Complete the prompts. You have now created an MSI.
