The High Blood Pressure Remedies You Need Are Yours To Give

28
One of the easiest medical conditions to prevent is Hypertension. All you have to do is eat right, don't smoke or drink, get plenty of exercise, drink lots of water, etc... Simple, right? Sure, if your superhuman. Unfortunately, most High Blood Pressure Remedies seem like the old joke that goes: A man goes to the doctor for a pain he is having. He says; "Doc, it hurts when I do this." And the Doctor replies; "Then don't do that!"

As fallible human beings, our biggest weaknesses are our appetites and vices and this disease uses these very effectively as a weapon against us.

Mankind has been struggling with this issue since the beginning of time. There is even an entire chapter of the bible in the New Testament that analyzes this (Romans 7). So it would be presumptive to suggest that you will find an answer to that age old dilemma in this short article because the answer cannot be found, it must be applied personally. However, knowledge is power, which leads to desire, which leads to action. I have some experience in that department as a recovering substance abuser and have had my fair share of victories and failures in that area. One thing you discover when recovering from addiction, is a principle that applies to all instances of human weakness, from overeating, to sexual dysfunction, to OCD, and even to gossiping to name a few. You can take the 12 steps of AA, and replace the word "alcohol" with any vice or aberration of your choice and the truths apply to all.

So any effective Remedy for High Blood Pressure must by definition address the issues of personal temperance and habits. A doctor might prescribe a medication that keeps the symptoms under control, but without removing the triggers that prompt the condition, any treatment will be nothing more than a temporary band aid.
Modern society has introduced many "conveniences" that have made our lives easier, but have also introduced us to choices that can have negative effects on our health. We exercise less, eat more fatty foods, and live a more high stress lifestyle than our parents did a generation ago. Hypertension rates have also risen proportionately. Places where heart disease was almost unheard of, such as Japan, began reporting increased cases after their cultures were introduced to western lifestyle and fast food.

Reducing High Blood Pressure in patients became a high priority in the medical communities all over the world, and the drug companies got busy spending millions of dollars for new medications.
But the condition has its roots in an age old human condition that is compounded by the availability of more and more choices to indulge our appetites and desires. Freedom of choice and the reluctance to tell others how they should live ruled out any third party intervention in the lives of those in danger. So a problem with a very simple and available solution became a dilemma without much hope.

This not only affects those who can afford to feed their cravings and indulgences, it also impacts those who cannot afford a decent meal. Many people are financially limited to consuming the very foods that are killing them. This is why people from third world countries cannot understand how poor people in America can apparently be so "fat." What they don't see, is that these poor people are living on diets loaded with saturated fats, cholesterol, and empty carbohydrates. These people need to have affordable access to more nutritionally healthy choices.

The rest of us are left wondering exactly how to deal with our love for junk food processed foods. Part of the answer is in re-education and reprogramming our collective mindsets. We have been programmed to wink at and even reward behaviors that are harmful. We have used adjectives such as "sinfully delicious" to describe things that are better left out of our diet. We are bombarded with happy and frivolous advertisements that tempt us to indulge ourselves in vices and unhealthy choices. Those who have recommended wise choices such as abstinence, moderation, and health, have been ridiculed and demonized as "prudes."

If you are serious about a High Blood Pressure Remedy that will be permanent, you must re-evaluate your perspectives on health and indulgence. You must learn to take pleasure in enjoying foods that are "body friendly." You must also learn to view things you may have once enjoyed in a different light. You need to pull back the curtain of illusion created by years of cultural programming.

To do this, we need to expose ourselves to the truths of health as much as possible, and view them through a different perspective than we may have in the past. For example; how do you view a stick of celery? Do you see it as something you have to eat because it's already been put in your food? Or do you see it as a highly valuable friend to your body which actually tastes pretty good with peanut butter?
