Transitioning Your Wardrobe Into Spring

58
Most of us are glad when the time comes to say goodbye to those cold winter days and nights and look forward to the spring months instead.

It isn't always that simple to make such a sudden change in our wardrobes. While the spring may bring nicer weather with it and the promise of a little more sun, we can never be sure of having warm days. In fact we may end up putting away our winter coat a little earlier than we should do.

Fortunately making the transition from winter to spring doesn't have to be difficult if we plan for it in the proper way. Once the weather starts brightening up you can be reasonably confident in packing away your thickest items of clothing. Keep everything else close at hand and remember that using layers is the order of the day. You can put two layers together in a creative way and keep warm enough on colder days. If it warms up one layer can easily be removed, leaving you feeling confident that you can cope with whatever the weather throws at you.

Don't be afraid of hanging on to your scarf and gloves either. Some spring days can still be cold enough to warrant using them, particularly in the early morning and late evening after sunset. Leather gloves or those made of a light material rather than big thick woolly ones are better, and choose ones that will go with more than one outfit if you can.

A versatile wardrobe is the order of the day at this time of the year. Casual shirts are a good idea because they are fairly thin and very comfortable, and once again they can be layered. They will also work well with or without a tie, and they can also be teamed up with cardigans or jackets.

Jeans are a staple of many wardrobes so they can stay in all year round. Rather than wearing a big thick jumper with them, try moving to a polo shirt instead. These can be bought in both long and short sleeved versions, giving you the ultimate in freedom and versatility. And you can also try combining a normal shirt over the top of a t-shirt if you want to keep the casual look.

As you can see you need to bear in mind that certain items in your wardrobe won't change as the seasons do. And conversely you may need to buy a few new items to give you more choice when it comes to dressing for those unpredictable spring days.

There is no doubt that mens fashion<a/> (http://www.burton.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/TopCategoriesDisplay?storeId=12551&catalogId=20553) can be very exciting as winter gives way to spring. You just need to be sure you are ready to make that transition so you can look and feel good every single day - no matter what the weather is doing.
