Attention - receiving attention and giving it to others.
Emotional connection - friendship, love and fun with others.
A sense of status - being valued and accepted in the groups we belong to.
There are many more but these are the most important and taking care of them will do more for you than any pill.

Drugs are not the answer to anxiety - The best tip that I can give you is to never take drugs for anxiety.
While they may be helpful in an emergency in the long run they are useless.
Our bodies build up tolerance very quickly, if you take drugs to sleep or calm down eventually they are not going to make you sleep or calm you down.
A large amount of studies have compared the effectiveness of drugs and psychotherapeutic treatments and have shown overwhelmingly that drugs are not the answer.
The solution is to find out what is missing from your life and then doing something about it.
This is the only way to make permanent changes.

You have to learn how to relax - Let's face facts the main reason why you suffer from an anxiety disorder is because you are tense, stressed and worry worry worry.
You have got to find a way to relax and you know it.
The best activities are those that take you out of yourself some of my favorites are.
Taking a long warm bath, exercising to my favorite music, taking a long walk with my dogs, reading a good book, doing crosswords and cleaning or tidying up.
Choose something you love to do schedule it a few times a week and RELAX.
