How to Customize the Windows Startup Image
- 1). Log on to Windows with a user name that has administrator capabilities.
- 2). Click the "Start" button. Click "Control Panel" in the right side of the "Start" menu.
- 3). Select "User Accounts" from the main window of the "Control Panel."
- 4). Click "Change an Account" under "Pick a New Task" in the "User Accounts" window. Select the user account for which you want to change the startup image.
- 5). Click "Change Picture" under "What Do You Want to Change." Select the image you want to use from the gallery and click "Change Picture." When you restart the computer, the new image will appear on the "Welcome" screen.
- 1). Log on to Windows with the user name for which you want to change the startup image.
- 2). Click the "Start" button. Click the image at the top right side of the "Start" menu, which is the same image shown on the "Welcome" screen.
- 3). Click "Change Your Picture" under "Make Changes to Your User Account" in the "User Accounts" window.
- 4). Select the image you want to use from the gallery and click "Change Picture." Click "Browse for More Pictures" to use an image on your computer. The image will change instantly, both on the "Start" menu and at the "Welcome" screen.
