How to Change Hotkeys
- 1). Click the Windows "Start" button and select "Programs." Select "DellTouch Programmable Keys." This opens the configuration window.
- 2). Select the hotkey you want to configure. Hotkeys are used for home pages, browser forward and back buttons, or desktop functions. Desktop functions include opening a folder or muting the sound.
- 3). Enter the action for the key. For this example, the hotkey opens the Google homepage. Enter "google.com" (without quotes) in the textbox labeled "Application Path or URL."
- 4). Enter a name in the textbox labeled "Button Label."
- 5). Click the "Ok" button to save the settings. There is no need to reboot the computer. The settings take effect after closing the configuration window.
