Anyone who has a pet especially a dog knows how hard it is to find pet friendly places to enjoy with your companion. As some cities are cracking down on pet friendly areas others are welcoming your four legged friend with open arms.
Through my travels I have found <u>San Diego California</u> is one of the most pet friendly places in Southern California. They make it very easy to enjoy a whole day with you pooch without having to keep them home or stay home yourself.
Dog and Pet Friendly
Some of the areas that they cater to animal lovers and their pets is everything from Dog friendly hotels to parks and beaches. Some notable attractions that San Diego offers is Family Kayak Adventure Center which allows you to bring your dog along with you and you family and enjoy a day out on the water. If you are in the mood to pamper you and your pooch take a ride around downtown San Diego in a Cinderella Carriage ride. They have 8 beaches that are all dog friendly.
They also have 15 on leash parks and 15 off leash parks. There are also over 50 outdoor restaurants that welcome dogs in their outdoor areas. If you are interested in an outdoor promenade type place check out old town state historic park. Enjoy live music and shops while enjoying the historic buildings of the early Mexican and American period of 1821 to 1872. There is also 5 original adobe buildings which is a must see! After waiting around, relax with your four legged friend and enjoy the live music and the beautiful architecture.
On Your Vacation
If your planning to go to Sea World don't worry. Sea World offers day kennels at the front of the park. They are attended at all times and you can even visit your dog throughout the day. Last but not least if you are interested in wine tasting don't worry San Pasqual Winery is a dog friendly winery!
Your best friend can accompany you there and even in the tasting room! If San Diego is not the place for you or if you don't live close by check out other pet friendly places on the internet and you might just be surprised at how many places will accommodate you and your pets.
