No matter how many claims you do for medical treatment, it doesn't affect your monthly or yearly installments. With the passage of time, the rate of premiums is increased as you get old. This is because you are likely to make more claims for treatment. According to an estimate, 65 year old person pay double premiums as compared to 45 year old. While selecting private medical insurance policy, don't forget to check it either it is giving in patient, out patient or day patient treatments.

To make sure that you are eligible for insurance, you have to provide all of your medical information. For this purpose, you just need to fill out the form providing your medical history. Private insurance company is liable to contact your family doctor to know more about your existing medical conditions. If you are feeling hesitation in filling out the form then you can simply adopt moratorium option. If you are already suffering from some disease then the treatment costs for that are not covered by insurance company.
