18
    • 1). If you don't already know it, find out the county where the divorce was filed.

    • 2). Visit brbpub.com, a free public records directory, to locate the correct court information. When you're on the website, use the drop-down menu to select the state of Arizona. Select the county that would have the divorce records. Look through the various courts in the county to determine where the divorce records are housed.

    • 3). Call the courthouse in the county that houses family and divorce records. Speak to the court clerk and ask about obtaining divorce records. Divorce records in Arizona are not available online. Speaking to a clerk, or visiting in person, is the only way to obtain this information. When speaking to the court clerk, ask if there are any restrictions to obtaining the court record, especially if you are not a party to the case. Also, ask how to order documents and how to pay for them.

    • 4). Send, fax or email your request for divorce records. Pay via check or credit card. Follow all instructions provided by the court clerk when requesting records. Make sure to verify the address of the court.
