How Can You Change the Speed of Your Scrollbars on Windows XP?
- 1). Click on the "start" icon next to the Windows logo, and then click on "Control Panel." (It's located in the right pane of the pop-up menu.)
- 2). Click on "Printers and Other Hardware" and then click on "Mouse."
- 3). Click on the "Wheel" tab; this includes scrolling controls. Specify how many lines of vertical text you want to scroll per notch of the mouse wheel. (You can select any number from one to 100.) Alternatively, you can click on the radio button marked "One screen at a time." You also can specify the pace of horizontal scrolling. The settings can be changed just beneath the vertical controller. Select whether you want to scan anywhere between one or 100 characters at a time.
