How to Keep White Leather Clean
- 1). Brush the leather object with a soft bristled brush. This will remove any dust from the surface. Make sure to get in the crevices, too, as dust collects in there.
- 2). Pour an equal quantity of rubbing alcohol and water into a spray bottle. Replace the cap tightly and shake it well. Hold the bottle 12 inches from the white leather object and mist it lightly, moving the bottle over the surface evenly. Wipe the leather object down with a soft, lint-free rag.
- 3). Mix a solution of one part white vinegar and two parts linseed oil in a spray bottle. Replace the cap and shake it well. Spray another clean, lint-free cloth with this solution and rub the white leather object well. This will simultaneously clean and shine the leather.
- 4). Allow the white leather object to dry thoroughly and spray it with a leather protector, holding the spray 10 inches away from the object. This spray will act as a shield, preventing the leather from absorbing further stains.
