How to Get Hair Oil Off a Leather Chair
- 1). Pour baking soda over the discolored hair oil stain on your leather chair. Leave the baking soda on the surface overnight.

Pour 1 tablespoon of table salt into a bowl. Add 2 ounces of rubbing alcohol. Stir the ingredients with a spoon until mixed well. - 4). Dip a clean cloth in the salt and rubbing alcohol mixture. Gently rub the solution into any remaining hair oil stain. Allow the mixture to sit on the leather surface for two minutes to absorb the rest of the oil.
- 5). Wipe the salt and rubbing alcohol mixture off the leather chair with a dry cloth.
- 6). Apply a nickel-sized amount of leather cleaner to a clean cloth. Rub the cleaner into the surface of your leather chair. Buff any excess cleaner off with a dry cloth.
