How to Find Hidden Internet Pictures in Windows XP
- 1). Log into your computer as an administrator if you have an administrative account, or log into the user account you want to search for hidden pictures.
- 2). Click "Start" then "Search" and select "For Files and Folders" from the fly-out menu.
- 3). Click "Pictures, music or video," and then select the "Pictures and photos" box.
- 4). Select the "Use advanced search options" link.
- 5). Enter a part of the file name if you know it.
- 6). Change the "Look in" field to "My Computer" then click "More advanced options."
- 7). Enter a date range or size if you know this information about the photos you are looking for, such as if they have been downloaded from the Internet within the past month. Internet photos are generally low-resolution, so if you want to rule out high-resolution photos you have stored, click the "What size is it" option and select "Medium (less than 1 MB)."
- 8). Place a check in the boxes next to "Search system folders," "Search hidden files and folders" and "Search subfolders."
- 9). Click "Search." This search might take a long time because it must search every file on your computer, including system icons, wallpaper and cursor images.

Click "View" at the top of the search results window and select "Thumbnails." This will make the results appear as small versions of the images so you can quickly scroll through and find the images you want.
