How to Use a Power Steering Pulley Removal Tool
- 1). Remove the power steering pulley nut with a ratchet.
- 2). Remove the power steering belt by loosening the tensioner with a ratchet. Then, loosen the lock bolt with a ratchet as well and pull up on the power steering belt and remove from the pulley.
- 3). Position the power steering pulley remover jaws around the power steering pulley and the bolt at the center of the pulley.
- 4). Tighten the power steering pulley remover with a ratchet until the pulley pops off the power steering pump.
- 5). Loosen the power steering pulley remover with a ratchet and remove the pulley from it.
