  Having a crazy kitchen is a good way to express your individuality, if you don't mind sacrificing some function in favor of an alternative bent. Because of the wide-ranging relative nature of the adjective "crazy," you can really do anything to make your kitchen crazy. If you're used to extremely conservative kitchens, maybe some green paint on the pantry will be enough. If you're used to more liberal kitchens, though, you might have to do more to make your kitchen sufficiently crazy.

Colors

• Kitchens are not usually known for being particularly colorful. Even kitchens that do have bright colors usually only use a few. This means that one way to make your kitchen crazy is to absolutely fill it with variety. Use five, 10, 15 different colors. Throw pink, green and yellow paint all over your fridge. If you have tiles, paint each one a different color.
  
  This will be visually jarring, but you're not here for a visually pleasing kitchen. You came for a crazy kitchen.

• Kitchens also tend to be minimalist, as they are workspaces. Counter space is at a premium in kitchens, as anyone who has cooked at the same time as a roommate knows. So one way to make your kitchen crazy is to fill it with knickknacks and odds and ends. Buy any and all cute little figurines you see when you're antiquing; buy one functional toaster and one old-school, just-for-looks toaster. The goal here is to fill your kitchen with cool-looking things.

• The final way to make your kitchen crazy is to combine the aforementioned steps. Don't just paint your kitchen in a wide variety of colors or fill it with things, but rather paint it with a wide variety of things.
  
  The goal here is to eliminate blank space. So if you have a wall, don't just paint it in different colors. Paint something on it in a lot of different colors. This can be essentially anything, but if you customize it to your interests you can really make your kitchen part of your personality.
