The law of abundance says that we are living in an abundance universe, where there are more than enough goods for everyone. There is plenty of money available to you. There is no real shortage. You can have all the money you really want and need. We are surrounded on all sides by abundance and opportunities to acquire all we truly desire.
Many people try to manifest the law of abundance by writing a check. This act is basically a visualization that's intended to keep your focus on financial prosperity. Positive visualization is when you want something, and you focus on it at the same time believe that it's possible.
When you write a check in a prescribed way, and either keep it with you or keep it in a safe place, you are committing an act of faith. You are believing that you're not just wasting a check and doing something silly. Still others say that the check must be filled out on the first new moon of the year, or within a number of hours of the first new moon to guarantee prosperity for that year. Whether or not you write the check at all, let alone write it during that first new moon, you can start to attract prosperity now.
You can, of course, write a check at any time and keep it with you or keep it where you'll see it frequently. Writing that check, though, simply represents an act of faith. Faith that you're writing it for a reason and that it will work. The law of abundance doesn't require that paper check to bring good things to you.
Rather, it's your attitude and your ability to visualize and believe that you'll get what you need that will do it. Writing a check is just a physical manifestation of that belief.
