When it comes to enjoying a cup of tea, nothing satisfies the soul than when you have the knowledge that you made the perfect cup. There are a lot of things to remember when you are trying to make the perfect cup of tea; it can go from great to poor rather quickly.

So what are you to do when you want to make the best cup of tea you can make? 
  1. You will want to store you tea in the proper way. This means that you have to keep your tea in a good, airtight container. You want to have the container in a good place that is away from heat sources, sunlight, and moisture. You will actually want to keep your tea away from things like cheese, soap, spices, and other objects and foods that can give off a strong aroma. Even in the container, like K-Cups, the flavor can be compromised by the aroma given off by the other objects.
  2. Keep your tea away from walls and off the ground. This is because if you keep your tea on the ground, then bugs can get into it. As for walls, same deal and also leaks in the ceiling or wall can impact the tea.
  3. Always use a high quality tea. Good quality tea can cost more money but you will get value in the long run.
  4. Use fresh water. If you use water that has been sitting out, then you will get tea flavor that is compromised by the stale water.
  5. If you use a teapot, then make sure you warm up the teapot before you add in the hot water and tea leaves.
  6. Make sure to have the right ratio of tea to water. If you use a K-Cup maker, then you do not have to worry about this since it is done automatically for you. However, if you use a teapot, then you will have to do the math.
  7. Do not underboil or overboil your water or you will have poor quality tea.
  8. Let the tea infuse between three and five minutes. This will give you the right amount of time for the majority of teas but you should make sure for your specific kind of tea.
  9. If you use a teapot, then do not use a teapot that is made from enamel or tin. One great option to use is stainless steel.

10. Do not rush the milk. Wait until the end to add it in.
