    • 1). Turn off the 2003 Honda CR-V's lights. Open the rear hatch to expose the inboard sides of the tail lamp assemblies.

    • 2). Pry the two circular screw covers off the side of the tail lamp assembly using a pocket screwdriver. Use care to avoid scratching screw cover or surrounding trim. Remove the screws behind the screw covers using a Phillips screwdriver.

    • 3). Pull the tail lamp assembly off the CR-V's rear pillar. Twist the brake light socket counterclockwise to unlock it from the tail lamp assembly. Pull the socket out of the tail lamp to expose the old bulb.

    • 4). Pull the old bulb out of the CR-V's brake light socket and discard it. Plug the new 7443 bulb into the socket. Insert the socket into the tail lamp assembly and twist it clockwise to lock it in place.

    • 5). Slide the tail lamp assembly back into position on the CR-V's rear pillar. Reinstall the two mounting screws using the Phillips screwdriver. Snap the screw covers back into place by hand and close the tail gate.
