Panic Attacks Even When You Sleep? REALLY?

Most of us are well aware of the natural occurrences of panic attacks, in fact panic attacks are feared by a lot of people all over the world. They are in the notion that they have incurred a severe disease that cannot be cured. However, there is another kind of panic attacks that most people do not want to have. Some people would rather have the usual panic attack instead of this other kind of panic attack. This other form of panic attack is the panic attack while sleeping, sleeping panic attacks are often rare to happen.

However, sleeping panic attacks is not that different with the normal panic attacks that happen when a person is awake. We know how the normal panic attacks can be very distressing, but suffering from sleeping panic attacks can be even more. At times, the person who is experiencing panic attacks does not usually know what has happened while they expedited the attack.

That person may wake up having a rapid heartbeat and they feel confused or in anxiety. A person suffering from sleeping panic attacks may even wake up in their midst of sleep, and they are then suffering from a full-blown panic attack, they have a feeling of fearful and they are afraid of dying or they might lose their sanity. The Sleeping panic attacks have the possibility to leave the individual a feeling of being confused and distressed, and in time this may even develop a person to fear when going to sleep.

Studies have shown that somewhere between the percentages of 50% to 70% of people who are suffering from panic disorder will also experience at least one or more sleeping panic attacks in their life. The episodes of an occurring panic attack while sleeping is relatively rare; however, there were cases that account about 10% of panic attacks. Those people who are regularly experience these types of panic attacks also have the tendency to experience other sleeping disturbances that includes insomnia and even restless or having a broken sleep.

Sleeping panic attacks has one or more form, but both of that form can be very frightening for a person to experience. One of the ways various ways of sleeping panic attacks can be experienced when an individual eventually wakes up and has the feeling as though he or she is going to have a panic attack. They will experience a rapid heartbeat and a racing pulse; the individual may also have a feeling of confused, disoriented, anxious, and disconnected from the real world.

The other form of sleeping panic attacks is that, when the individual starts to feel consciously experience a panic attack while they are in a deep sleep. This would take form as the conventional panic attack; this is where the individual will experiences a panic attack exactly as if they are awake. Although in some other cases, the sleeping panic attack may take a different form, like grinding the teeth, head pain and the feeling of pressure within the ears. These symptoms are not typically experienced is you are having a panic attack while the person is awake. In some occasion, the person experiencing sleeping panic attacks may be aware that they are asleep, and they may feel that they are struggling to wake up.
