 They create a better home for earthworms, who are natural aerators.
 Most liquid aerators are perfectly safe around children and animals.
  Some liquid lawn aerators even have some benefits over core aeration.
 They allow for the aerated effect to last longer.
 It has humic acid and mycorrhizae in it which help the lawn recuperate from toxins that were applied during the year.
  These toxins can be found in herbicides and pesticides and sometime even fertilizers.
 Another benefit they provide is they stabile the sodium in the root zone forcing any accumulation of sodium (typically from using city water) beyond the roots.
 Sodium can actually increase compaction in high clay content lawns which in turn decreases the ability for the roots to absorb nutrients.
 These destructive effects from sodium are reversed/lessened when you use a good quality liquid aerator.
 It is important to aerate often.
 Compaction and abuse are constant for lawns.
