How to Play Keno & Win
- 1). Get a "way ticket" and choose some numbers. Start with five numbers. Cross out five numbers on the way ticket. Use a way ticket in order to arrive at the most possible combinations to win. Though the winning rates are lowered, so is the buy-in rate on a "way ticket."
- 2). Circle your crossed-out numbers into different sized groups. For example, circle two numbers, another two numbers, and a single number, making for three total groups. Then write all the possible combinations of these groups in the margin to right of the numbers in form of a fraction, in which the top number is how many groups of a certain size you can firm with your numbers, and the bottom number of the fraction is how many numbers are in that certain group. Staying with the five-numbers scenario, write "2/2" because you can form two groups of two numbers; "1/5" because you write one group of five numbers; "1/1" because you can form one group of one number; and "2/3" because you can form 2 groups of three numbers, by combining one group of two and the single group of one number.
- 3). Add up the numbers in the top position of the fraction. In this case, the sum is 6. Decide on a small bet for each combination, such as fifty cents. Multiply $.50 by 6, which is $3, to arrive at your total bet, and write that number in the box in the top right of the ticket.
- 4). Check the pay-out schedule to see how much you can win on your bet of $.50 for each fraction of numbers. The pay-out may list $.50 for each one, or more. By playing this way you ensure that you lose less, play more and see more wins that can allow you to play again.
