Download Browser Appliance Virtual Configuration File

• 1). Open a Web browser window and navigate to the "Browser Appliance" page on the VMware website. (See Resources)
  
  
• 2). Click the "Download this Appliance" link and save the resulting .zip archive to your desktop when prompted.
  
  
• 3). Navigate to your desktop and double-click the icon of the .zip file you just downloaded.
  
  
• 4). Click the "Extract" or "Extract All Files" button and extract the virtual machine configuration file to a convenient location on your computer.
  
  

Open Firefox in VMware Player

• 1). Open VMware Player.
  
  
• 2). Navigate to the folder containing the virtual machine configuration file you extracted previously when the "Browse for Virtual Machine Configuration File" dialog box appears on your screen.
  
  
• 3). Select the configuration file by single-clicking its icon.
  
  
• 4). Click "Open." Firefox launches automatically as soon as the Browser Appliance loads.
