Three Common Ways To Avoid Online Paid Survey Scams

12
If you are reading this article, then you are probably pretty familiar with the concept of online paid surveys.
You see them all over the net.
"Make $30,000 each day by answering a 5 minute survey", or how about the "Make millions to stay at home and give your opinion".
Unfortunately, the paid surveys industry has been flooded with these type of scam sites.
I am a very active member of a paid survey forum where we discuss paid survey sites and share tips and tricks with each other.
Unfortunately, every now and then I see members come on that have been scammed by other online paid surveys.
There is nothing we can do for this victim but give them my tips to not get scammed in the future.
In most cases, I often give them real online paid surveys that have worked for me, such as PaidSurveysEtc (more about this at the end of the article).
So let's get started with some ways to spot scams.
1) Outrageous Claims Anything that tells you that you can make anything like $5000 each day is a scam.
I mean, it just sounds outrageous.
Do you think a company would really pay that much for one person's opinion anyway? If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
2) Guarantees Are False No matter how much a site guarantees you "if you're not satisfied within the first 60 days, we'll refund 100% of your money", it's still not real.
Go ahead and read their disclaimer at the bottom of the page and you will see there is some way they get out of that guarantee.
It's usually something that contradicts their guarantee.
Another place you may find text that contradicts their guarantee in their disclaimer.
3) No Way to Contact Them? In most cases, if you are unable to contact the owner of the site, or they don't have a page that can be used as a contact form, it's very unlikely that you will be able to contact them for support, let alone any problems you may have.
Most contact pages can be found in the footer of sites displayed as "Contact" or "Contact Us".
You may also want to look for "Support", as some sites may offer support tickets or help desks.
If there is no way to contact them, I would immediately leave the site and not purchase whatever they are trying to sell you.
