When a pet dog bites someone, two people are the most affected by the incidence which are the one whom the dog bit and the owner of the pet. Whenever such an incident occurs, everyone seems to show a concern for the victim however the owner of the dog is nothing less than a victim as he is the one who is blamed in the case. Dogs that are tied up for longer are perilous however unsterilized dogs are even more dangerous. Dog bite makes the owner a subject to civil as well as criminal charges.   • Arrange first aid for the victim and then take him to a nearby clinic. It is humane to help anyone in such a situation. Pay for all the medical treatment expenses.
  • Note down the name, address and other contact details of the witnesses present at the site of incidence.
  • Take your dog to the vet and ask him to suggest some precautions to prevent such instances in future.
