Tour the Driftless Area

• The Driftless Area is quickly becoming recognized as a national treasure by trout anglers. The area encompasses northeast Iowa, southwest Wisconsin, southeast Minnesota and a small part of northwest Illinois. The Driftless Area is home to countless spring-fed trout streams that are especially popular with fly fisherman. You can find lodging at hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts or you can camp. • Clear Lake is a popular destination for boating and angling in Iowa. The lake has numerous rental accommodations available and the state park section offers a waterfront campground. The lake has several marinas for parking and renting boats, and the surrounding community offers shopping and restaurants. Anglers will find excellent fishing for pike, walleye, muskie, catfish, crappie and bass and non-anglers will find entertainment in the town or on one of several beaches.
