How to Replace Rear Audio Speakers in a Fiero
- 1). Find a single Phillips screw, about half way down the leading edge of the rear quarter panel of the car's interior. Remove the screw.
- 2). Pry off the cover on the seat belt hanger with your panel tool, then undo and remove the TORX bolt holding the seat belt in place.
- 3). Pull the rear panel toward the front of the vehicle. This will release the clip holding it in place. Bend the panel toward you slightly, and lift the panel up and out of the car. You'll be able to see the speaker now.
- 4). Undo the three screws, holding the speaker in place. Pull the speaker out and release the wiring clip.
- 5). Wire a new speaker to the wiring. Test its operation and bolt it in place. Replace the panel, working in reverse order of the steps you used to take the panel off.
- 6). Repeat the previous steps to do the speaker on the other side of the car.
