Quickest Way to Dry Nail Enamel
- 1). Apply thin, but even layers of nail enamel to your nails to increase drying time. When thick layers are applied, it takes longer to dry. Apply thinner layers by brushing the nail enamel brush over the top of the bottle to remove excess nail enamel from the brush. Apply the nail enamel to the nail starting from the nail quick to the tip of the nail.
- 2). Dry nail enamel quicker by using a battery-operated fan. Place your polished nails in front of the fan so that the breeze can blow on them, drying them quicker.
- 3). Dip your nails in a bowl of ice water to dry nail enamel faster. Let them stay in the bowl of ice water for at least 2 minutes.
- 4). Spray an aerosol nail polish drying agent on your fingernails to increase drying time. Hold the spray bottle at least 5 inches from your nails after applying the nail enamel. Spray it evenly over each polished nail to accelerate drying time.
