Labrador retrievers are the dog who love to play and are very energetic during childhood and as full grown dogs too.

BRINGING YOUR PUPPY HOME Make sure that you have devoted yourself to help your pup to adjust in your home and the family members when you bring them first time to the home.
Do not rush this process as they can be overwhelmed.
Labrador retriever pups are energetic and willing to explore the surrounding.
Remember that they haven't been to your home before and they need time to learn about their new home.
CRATE TRAINING/HOUSE TRAINING The theory behind the crate training is to give your pup a short term confinement to control their bladder.
Eventually crate can be used for sleeping and eating too, depending on the type of trainer and what is best in your family.
Put your pup in the crate for the short time period and when you take the puppy out of the crate, take them outside immediately for elimination.
If they do as directed, reward them with treats.
Young pups need to eliminate every 45 minutes to an hour.
You cannot leave the pup unsupervised during the house training.
You should not be yelling at the dog if an accident does happen.
It is because you left the dog unsupervised.
With the new puppy you have to be up for the midnights outings.
So the pups have to build up their bladder to be able to control the whole night.
This is one of the major steps in the Labrador retriever training.
SOCIALIZATION If you want your Labrador to be well adjusted member then it is important to start socializing them as a part of Labrador retriever training.
You can take your retriever out in the open, meeting people and other animals, basically teaching them about the surrounding they are living in.
you can slowly invite people and animals to you home to play with your lab.
You can take you puppy for a car ride.
Parks are the best place to begin as well as different pet stores welcome pets.
Socializing your lab doesn't mean to make them comfortable with people and animals but also with the things.
Introduce your pup with the things they encounter in the daily life so it won't be traumatic later.
