Juggle things so that your children are taken care of and you're still able to earn an income.
Save all of the extra money you get because you will need it.
Get Help from Friends and Family - Not only is it possible that your friends and family can help with your children while you earn a living, but you may be able to stay with one of them while you get your financial position straightened out and improved.
Because this is such a difficult time, many of them may offer to help you out without you having to ask.
