How To Get To Harry Potter Park from Disney
With the grand opening of the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter park quickly approaching, many people are wondering, "How do I get there??!!" With the overwhelming quantity of visitors staying at the Walt Disney World Resort and without transportation, it could be difficult, but not impossible.
You could call for a taxi to take you to the Universal Orlando Resort for a Harry Potter park visit. It will cost you about $75 round-trip, provided you only have a family of four and don't need a van. You could rent a car for the day. They even have an Alamo location right on Disney property! Of course, it will cost you about $50 for the daily rental, again provided you don't need a full-size vehicle or van. Lastly, you could get a free shuttle from your Disney resort to the Universal Orlando Resort, operated by Mears. Yes, a free shuttle! You just have to buy the right ticket, a One Day/Two Park Pass with Shuttle Transfers and you must buy it from a travel agent that sells that specific ticket, as Universal does not sell it to the public. Also, be forewarned, the same ticket exists at Universal without the shuttle ride!
When you purchase this ticket, you'll receive a confirmation and vouchers for your shuttle ride. You simply call to schedule pick-up and hop on board at your Disney resort. The shuttle will take you to the Universal Orlando Resort, home of the new Harry Potter park. In fact, you'll be dropped off as close to the entrance as possible.
When you're all set to go home, call the same number and schedule your ride home.
That's it! Nothing to it and you get a free ride to the most popular new attraction in Orlando, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
