Sony Bluetooth Instructions
- 1). Plug the Sony Bluetooth into the charger that came with the unit and plug the charger into the wall. It is important to leave it for eight hours to get a full charge the first time. Subsequent charges will only take a couple hours.
- 2). Unplug Bluetooth after it is full charged. Make sure that it is powered on by touching the button on the front or side of the Bluetooth and place it within one to three feet of your phone. The phone needs to be able to pick up the Bluetooth signal to be able to work with it. The first time you use the Bluetooth with your phone, it should try to pair automatically. Wait for Bluetooth to flash red and green, which tells you its trying to pair the two devices.
- 3). Grab your phone and find the menu for Bluetooth, which would usually be in your Settings. Each phone is a little different, but you'll want to scroll through the Bluetooth menu until you find a "Discovery" or "Locate" mode. Once you find this option, select that option from the menu. Your phone will then search for Bluetooth devices and try to connect. When you phone has identified your Bluetooth, it will ask if you want to connect with it. Select "Yes" or "OK." Enter your passcode on your phone if you are prompted to before connecting to the device. The default code for a Sony Bluetooth is "0000."
- 4). Secure the Bluetooth around your ear. Dial and place calls as you normally would, except instead of holding the phone to your ear, just speak as you would if someone was near you. Make sure that the phone stays within close range or you could lose your signal and possibly drop the call. When a call comes in, just touch the button on the Bluetooth to pick up the call.
- 5). Recharge every day or two depending on usage. Charge for at least two hours prior to use.
