How to Tie a Stretch Cord
- 1). Grab the two ends of the stretch cord and cross one over the other.
- 2). Pull the end that you crossed over under the cords and back up. The result is a twist, which is half of your knot.
- 3). Cross the ends over each other again and tuck the end that is laying toward the front, under the loop that is created between the original twist and the current crossed ends.
- 4). Pull both ends outward to tighten the knot .
- 5). Grasp one hanging end to expose the knot and place a small dot of rubber cement directly on the knot. Hold it in place to let it dry for about 60 seconds. This will ensure that your knot does not slip apart.
