How to Single Braid With Weave
- 1). Separate your weave into one small section at a time; ideally you should separate hair into a section approximately one square inch in size. Move the rest of your weave out of the way of the section of hair you are currently braiding.
- 2). Separate the small section into three equal sections. Hold the section at the far right in the palm of your right hand, the middle section between the thumb and forefinger of your right hand and the section at the far left between the thumb and forefinger of your left hand.
- 3). Cross the section at the far left over the middle section, grabbing it under the crook of the middle finger on your right hand and moving the middle section to your left hand. Take the new middle section between your thumb and forefinger on your left hand and cross the section at the far right over the middle section by grabbing it with the crook of your middle finger on your left hand, moving the middle section to your right hand.
- 4). Repeat step three until the entire section of hair is completely braided. Hold the braid in place with small hair ties or special styling gel that prevents the braid from coming unraveled. Start over with step one until your entire head of hair is braided.
