How to Put Hair on Mini Clay Babies
- 1). Pinch tiny pieces of clay and roll them into tendrils as long as they need to be to reach from the top of the baby's forehead to the back of the neck.
- 2). Press the tendrils in place on the head with your fingers. Roll the ends into a curve if you want the hair to be curly or lay them straight in a hairline pattern. For an added touch of realism, look at photos of babies with hair for reference.
- 3). Press the tendrils down with moderate pressure once they are all in place, to ensure a strong bond.
- 4). Add more defined lines by tracing some areas with a toothpick to carve out any areas between tendrils that you pressed with your fingers.
- 5). Wet a sponge and rub it gently over the hair to smooth any lines you carved with the toothpick and to remove your fingerprints.
