How Can I Deal With the Pain of My Breakup?

The pain you feel when you have gone through a breakup, is just like the pain you would feel on the death of a loved one.
They have gone and if you still have strong feelings for them, you are left with all the heartache.
At first you will find it difficult to think of anything but the breakup of your intimate relationship, but in order to move on you must look beyond the pain, you should be thinking how can I deal with the pain of my breakup.
Fear of the future, misery, and lack of confidence in yourself, are common feelings following any breakup and if you are alone to deal with these feelings it can seem impossible at first.
Do not allow yourself to wallow in grief, you must try to start dealing with your heartache pain right away.
Think about all the other people who have coped with love and loss and survived and take inspiration from them.
You should never think that you are the only person in the whole world that has gone through a painful break up of a loving relationship, if you think this way it will make your pain more difficult to overcome.
Constant thinking of your painful split up will prevent you from getting over it and regaining the person you were before it all happened.
How can I deal with the pain of my break up, start by not feeling sorry for yourself get out and:- * Get back with your circle of friends get their help to take you mind off your breakup * With their help focus on the good parts of your life, meet new people (not necessarily with the intent of starting a new relationship, it may be too soon for that), widen you circle of friends and through them seek new interests.
Your friends will have seen what has happened to you and your relationship, they will understand the pain you are going through, probably from personal experience.
So accept the help they offer you, do not let your heartbreak make you turn them away.
Go out with them to places you were happy before the relationship even started, this way you can start to heal.
It may take you some time to recover but if you cannot at least make a start with some of my suggestions then you will be in for a time of stress and the related pain of depression.
Remember were happy before your relationship, happy before the breakup and in time you will be happy again.
