The irony is that the book took off and made Mr. Kiyosaki a multi-millionaire, whereas his game is considered to be overpriced by many, and has really never taken off in a big way. It's doubtful that he has been extremely upset about this, however; more likely, he has laughed all the way to the bank! He now has an online version of Cash Flow – more cross marketing/promotion. So even though there are some you'll find who disagree with his philosophy on attaining wealth (the way he wrote what he wrote, as well as the content) one thing is undeniable – he has become a multi-millionaire by virtue of cross promotion and niche product marketing. Not a bad role model (at least in his marketing strategies and his amazing results) - wouldn't you agree?
There are actually some websites out there that will "show you the ropes" of internet niche product marketing. It might behoove you to put yourself in student mode and learn from their expertise and success. You can always learn a lot from trial and error, it's true, but if you can find teachers/role models who have already made it "big" – why not learn from them, rather than from that old "school of hard knocks?" Bottom line – niche product marketing WORKS! You just need to invest the time and effort into tailoring your particular product to your key target audience, and make your product(s) highly desirable and readily available to those who are passionate about what you have to offer.
